Quadros Systems Announces RTXC Quadros RTOS Support for New CodeWarrior Development Suite for ARM Architectures
Quadros RTOS integrated with new IDE from Metrowerks, supports Motorola MX1, Intel XScale, and other ARM-based platforms.
HOUSTON, TX – October 28, 2003 – Quadros Systems, Inc. today
announced that the RTXC Quadros real-time operating system now supports
the newly released CodeWarrior development suite for ARM-based
processors. The combination of the RTXC Quadros RTOS and the new
CodeWarrior development suite offers customers tighter integration,
shorter development times and enhanced visibility into their
applications.
The Metrowerks development suite includes a fast editor, award-winning
debugger, a new Metrowerks compiler for ARM architectures, and an
assembler and linker. The RTXC Quadros RTOS features a Kernel Awareness
plug-in module for the Metrowerks development suite that gives
developers unique visibility to the kernel. The recently released
Execution Profiler is included in the Kernel Awareness module.

The RTXC Quadros real-time operating system is a second-generation RTOS
composed of two major architectural modules: a Single Stack kernel and a
Multi-Stack kernel. In RTXC Quadros, these classic real-time system

needs of a wide range of applications. Alone, both modules easily meet
the demanding requirements of real-time, control processing or digital
signal processing (DSP) applications. In combination, they answer the
converging requirements of products spanning both application domains.
