Quadros Systems Integrates PEG+ and C/PEG GUI Development Tools
Enables integrated LCD displays for control devices and portable
electronics
Houston, TX - August 30, 2004 - Quadros Systems, Inc., a
leading supplier of configurable and scaleable real-time operating systems
(RTOS), today announced the availability of PEG+ and C/PEG graphical user
interface (GUI) development tools fully integrated with the RTXC Quadros
RTOS. These advanced tools allow Quadros customers, such as those involved in
control, medical and portable consumer electronics to quickly and easily
build embedded applications that incorporate LCD and other video displays.
PEG+ is a Portable Embedded GUI library and a C++ development tool set
designed specifically for embedded systems. It supports developers building
customized graphical user interface screens with overlapping windows,
customer fonts and more. C/PEG is a high-performance graphics application
framework library for resource-constrained embedded systems. It provides a
full toolset of graphics primitives and high-level control objects that
easily and quickly construct user-friendly, graphical interfaces for any type
of embedded device.

development of a graphical interface. To simplify the integration process,
both PEG+ and C/PEG come complete with full source code, example application
programs, supporting utility programs, hardware interface objects for common
video configurations and input devices and thorough documentation.
