Tight memory footprint? Limited project budget?
Continuing our commitment to supporting application flexibility, Quadros Systems announces the newest member of our RTXC family of real-time operating systems: RTXC/mc, (the 'mc' refers to microcontroller). The RTXC/mc RTOS was designed specifically to meet the growing demand for high performance, small footprint 32-bit systems. It boasts a 12 KB ROM footprint (scalable down to less than 2 KB), and an attractive price (royalty-free licenses starting around $7500).

Avoid the trap of small footprint kernels that restrict future mobility.
RTXC/mc is a member of the RTXC Quadros family and is fully API-compatible with the rest of the RTOS family. That means that you can confidently develop your next application on RTXC/mc knowing that your code is fully portable to the more fully featured RTXC/ms or RTXC/dm kernels.

Designing on ARM7, ARM Cortex-M3, or ColdFire v1 or v2?
You owe it to yourself to check out the features of this small but powerful kernel. More information.

Version 2.0 of the VisualRTXCTM Design Tool is here!
New release offers improved ease of use with enhanced capabilities and features

    VisualRTXC version 2.0

VisualRTXC, the easy-to-use development tool that allows application engineers to graphically design embedded applications and then generate full C code, now has even more time saving capabilities with the release of version 2.0. Project managers and system developers who use the RTXC Quadros RTOS can deliver significant schedule improvements as well as increased productivity and higher quality. VisualRTXC neatly fits into any software development methodology and employs familiar dataflow diagrams and flowcharts.

    New features with version 2.0:

-Components - code reuse and sharing
-Round Trip Engineering - integrate code changes back into the tool
-Navigation Mode - provides for more flexibility while navigating thought multiple diagrams
-Flexible Code Editor and Fully Synchronized Windows - makes it easy to locate objects
-Other features - all project files, both graphical and textual, can be output to the system printer or files; fully integrated help files cover all aspects of usage; extended evaluation period allows full use and evaluation for 30 days

If you would like to try VisualRTXC free for 30 days, register here.

RTXC Kernel Awareness Module Now Available for Keil µVision Debugger
First third-party plug-in for popular embedded tool suite

    VisualRTXC version 2.0

The kernel-aware debug module for the RTXC Quadros RTOS is now available for the Keil µVision3 debugger for ARM7, ARM9 and Cortex-M3 processors. This advanced kernel analysis tool displays detailed data about kernel activity enabling developers to quickly identify and resolve performance problems in their application.

Quadros is pleased to offer the first third-party plug-in for the Keil RealView Microcontroller Development Kit (MDK). This kernel awareness module will support the entire RTXC kernel family: RTXC Single Stack, RTXC Microcontroller, RTXC Multi-stack and RTXC Dual Mode.

Users of our kernel awareness module for Keil µVision will enjoy:

-Fully integrated viewing windows for kernel objects and associated data
-Module scales automatically to fit the configuration of the kernel as defined by the developer
-Combination of project management, make facilities, source code editing, program debugging and complete simulation in one powerful environment
-Editor and debugger are integrated in a single application that provides a seamless embedded project development environment

The kernel awareness module for Keil is available now to licensed users of the RTXC Quadros RTOS.
